Senior Accountant (Contract)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Schedule: Hybrid (After Training)

Compensation: $50-$90/hour

Duration: Approximately 3 Months

An organization is seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract opportunity supporting a collaborative finance team. This role is focused on full-cycle general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end activities, and financial reporting support.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Analyze financial data and resolve discrepancies
• Partner with accounting leadership on various projects
• Assist with process improvements and day-to-day accounting operations

Qualifications:

• Strong general ledger accounting experience
• Prior public accounting experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and learn quickly
• Construction or engineering industry experience is a plus
